Octo Octa and Lavonz remix DJ Q’s ‘All That I Could’ / ’It’s You’.

Released in October 2020, ‘All That I Could’ / ‘It’s You’ saw DJ Q return to Local Action for a pair of instant UK Garage anthems, described by Resident Advisor as “a modern 2-step gem” and Q’s best release since 2012’s modern classic ‘Brandy & Coke’.

The single now gets the remix treatment. Octo Octa, fresh from the release of their celebrated mix CD for Fabric (together with partner Eris Drew) stretches ‘It’s You’ out to a six-minute bleep ‘n’ bass odyssey, while UKG veteran Lavonz — one of UKG's finest since the late 90s, both solo and as half of Krush Groove — hones in on ‘All That I Could’’s vocal lead, pairing it with sweet keys that bring out the original’s R&B influence.
